Benefits

Meaningful conversations lead to greater awareness of self and others, which in turn leads to having a greater impact on your world. At the heart of effective coaching and training are the words that are exchanged, the insights that accompany them, and the empowerment that follows them.

During the last few years, most organizations have realized that formal and informal coaching is not anymore, a luxury, but a necessity. Coaching has become one of the most effective ways of leadership development, high-performing team building, collaboration, and professional development because the application of a coaching approach improves:

  • the quality of communication, employee engagement and accountability;
  • team performance; individual and collective awareness;
  • leadership intelligence and leadership competencies;
  • creativity, innovation, and performance;
  • competency development, onboarding, organizational learning;
  • the general climate and culture of the organization;
  • the quality of feedback and employee development
  • the competitive advantage of the company;
  • the attractiveness of the company for talents, etc.

Our philosophy of training

In our coaching programs, we develop coaches, instead of teaching about coaching. We create an environment, where we blend theory, practice, reflections, and thought-provoking discussion.

We believe that real learning is a multi-tier phenomenon. It creates new knowledge and understanding. It develops new skills, abilities, behaviors and habits, new attitudes, and mental models. It expands one’s sense-making capabilities by deconstructing and integrating the old and the new.

Therefore, we use a certain amount of professional theory, but our main approach is to provide an experiential learning environment in which we encourage our participants to explore ideas and insights. The context we provide allows our participants to grasp and acknowledge the progress they are making as it happens. We go deep, yet at the same time, we employ a playfulness and lightness of touch. We offer quality, cutting-edge knowledge drawn from in-depth research: this provides the academic ballast for the experiential exploration that animates the room.

Participants are encouraged to go beyond their comfort zones, support, and respect each other, and enjoy themselves. We invite them to develop their emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and capabilities of self-leadership and leading others.

Our guidelines of professional training:

  • Our training programs are accredited by ICF. We have chosen to apply for ICF accreditation because we believe that ICF provides the best standards in the coaching industry. Therefore, in the creation of our curriculum and the delivery of the training we adhere to these professional and ethical standards.
  • We work with highly qualified faculty members, who are thoroughly trained in the principles and methodologies of adult development.
  • During our training programs, we provide individual attention and support to each participant in many forms (observations, mentoring, ongoing individual check-in conversations, etc.). We ensure that each participant is aware at any time of their progress. Based on the ICF competencies and standards we highlight the strong competencies to build confidence and provide recommendations for development. Our evaluations are always evidence-based and objective and presented in a respectful, warm, encouraging style.
  • While we create a light, warm, friendly, and safe atmosphere, we have rigorous requirements to ensure an ethical and effective learning process.

While we follow a standardized professional process, during the training program we attend to the needs of each individual and each group. We focus on supporting the learning, not on the delivery. Therefore, we use our creativity to find the best way of making something understood.

How is the ICF Level 1 training structured?

The program has two main parts:

  • Part 1 consists of a 12-day training program called Coaching Essentials
  • Part 2 consists of min. 10 hours of group and individual mentor coaching and a final ACC-level performance evaluation exam.

Part 1 is for those participants who want to benefit from the coaching knowledge and skills, but do not want to pursue a career in professional coaching. They will get a certificate of attendance after the 12-day program.

Part 1 + Part 2 is for those participants, who want to pursue a career in professional coaching or for those who want to get an international credential from the International Coaching Federation. After a successful exam, they will get a Level 1 certificate, testifying that they have graduated from an internationally accredited program and have met the global professional standards of an Associated Certified Coach credential (ACC). With this certificate, they will be able to apply for an ACC credential at the International Coaching Federation.
